Presbyterian Campus Ministry at Virginia Tech (aka
"Cooper House") is a welcoming and nurturing faith community that
many students call their home away from home. College can be a challenging time
as well as an immensely exciting time and we want to support you in the ups,
downs, and everything in between. Cooper House is community where you can
explore your faith and ask tough questions, deepen your spirituality, connect
to the church, make meaningful relationships, have fun and laugh a lot.
We meet every Tuesday night at 6:00 for "Ukirk"; a delicious free
meal, programs/student-led worship, and fellowship. Friends are always welcome,
too!
We also have a weekly bible study, opportunities for
service, a trip to Montreat for college conference and a mission trip right
after graduation in May. This year
we are going to Guatemala. Coopers attend worship together on Sundays at one of
our four supporting local churches.
Cooper House is the name of our building and is located
right across from campus on Washington St. Check out our website for directions
and more info: www.pcusa-vt.org. You may also join our group page on facebook
(Cooper House - Presbyterian Student Fellowship at Virginia Tech) to stay up to
date on what's happening here.
Everyone is welcome at Cooper House!
